Summary:
Learn about a study of an investigational vaccine for people who may be at risk of Clostridium difficile (C. diff)
People who are taking antibiotics or are treated at a hospital or health care facility have an increased chance of getting sick due to C. diff. C. diff can cause frequent diarrhea, abdominal pain, and inflammation of the colon which, when severe, can be life threatening.
Qualified Participants Must:
Have received oral or injected antibiotics at any time in the last 12 weeks, or Have had at least 10 out patient visits within the last year
Be at least 60 years of age
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation for their time and travel as well as all eligible participants will receive study treatment and medication at no cost.
