CLUSTER HEADACHE STUDY
We are seeking volunteers for two research studies near you. If you suffer from episodic cluster headaches or chronic cluster headaches and are over the age of 18, learn more and see if you qualify!
EPISODIC CLUSTER HEADACHES
Episodic cluster headaches occur for one week to a year and are followed by a remission phase that may last as long as a year before another cluster headache develops.
CHRONIC CLUSTER HEADACHES
Chronic cluster headaches may occur for more than a year and are often followed by short remission periods of less than a month.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A CLUSTER PERIOD
- Headaches will generally occur daily, sometimes several times a day
- Attacks can last between 15 minutes to 3 hours
- Attacks will often occur around the same time each day
- Most attacks occur during the night, usually 1-2 hours after going to sleep
