Summary:

Local doctors are recruiting participants for a research study to examine the effectiveness of an investigational medication as an add-on therapy to work in combination with metformin to lower blood sugar/HbA1c levels in subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 20+ years old
• Have been diagnosed with type II diabetes
• Be currently taking at least 1500 mg of metformin as sole anti-diabetic medication
• Be on a stable dose of metformin for at least 8 weeks or more


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related medication will be provided at no cost to qualified participants. Qualified participants will also receive reimbursement for time and travel at each completed visit, up to $600 for all visits completed.
