Study Summary:

Do you have angry outbursts? Do you have a "short fuse"? Those terms can be associated with a disorder called Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED). You may qualify to participate in a research study that will gather information about the effects of an investigational medication on the symptoms of IED.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be Males or Females 18 to 65 years of age
• Experience sudden episodes of impulsive, aggressive, violent behavior or angry verbal outbursts in which they react grossly out of proportion to a situation
• Not have any depressive episodes within the last 6 months of screening
• Not have Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder
• Not have Substance Abuse and/or Alcohol Abuse within the last 6 months of screening


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel may be possible.  Complete psychiatric examination.
