Summary:

A Study to Determine the Safety and the Efficacy of D-Cycloserine for the Treatment of Chronic, Refractory Low Back Pain

A patient must meet the following criteria to be eligible for inclusion in the study:

1. Must have a history of low back pain for a minimum of 6 months

2. Must be 18 years of age or older.

3. Must have moderate to severe low back pain

4. Must be in generally stable health

5. Must be willing to abstain from drinking alcohol during the course of the study.

6. If female, must be post-menopausal for at least one year or practicing an accepted, highly effective method of contraception or abstine0nce and plan to continue either during the course of the study.

7. Must sign an informed consent document to indicate willingness to participate in study

8. Must be willing to discontinue all pain medications for chronic back pain except the study medication and rescue medication provided and not use certain prohibited pain medications throughout the duration of the study treatment period


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants of the study will be compensated.
