Summary:
Do you or a loved one have narcolepsy, coupled with loss of muscle control when experiencing strong emotions (cataplexy)?
Are you interested in taking part in a medication research study for this condition?
Wake Research is seeking individuals with narcolepsy to take part in a research study of an investigational medication for this condition.
Men and women over the age of 16 may be eligible to participate if they experience the following symptoms:
- Excessive daytime sleepiness
- Sudden loss of muscle tone associated with strong emotions (such as drooping eyes, slack jaw, broken speech, knees buckling or other similar symptoms)

All study-related care and investigational medication will be provided at no cost, and you may be compensated for your time and travel.
