Summary:

The primary objective of this study is to compare the overall response (clinical and microbiologic combined response) of oral sulopenem etzadroxil/probenacid vs. oral ciprofloxacin for the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infection in adult women at the primary time-point.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have had current UTI symptoms for at least 24 hours but no more than 4 days
• Able to swallow large pills whole


Qualified Participants May Receive:

- Compensation for time and travel expenses

- Study medication or Ciproflaxin for treatment of UTI

- Study related procedure such as blood work, ECG, physicals with a board certified physician
