Summary:

ATTN: New Mothers

If you’ve recently had a baby and are still lactating, you can help research a medicine for new moms with constipation.

Wake Research is enrolling volunteers in a study testing the safety of an already-approved medication for constipation in lactating women.


To qualify*, you must be:

  • A woman, at least 18 years old
  • Currently taking Trulance™ (plecanatide) for constipation
  • Currently lactating (breastfeeding or pumping 4 weeks before joining the study)
  • NOT pregnant

Health insurance is not needed to participate in this study.
