Summary:
Now enrolling families to participate in a research study to test a video game designed for children with ADHD and a related application for parents! Test dates are 10/2, 10/3, 10/4 and 10/6.
Participation Requirements
Your family may qualify if:
- You have a child between the ages of 8 and 12
- Your child has been diagnosed with ADHD
- Your child currently plays video games at least two hours a week
- Your family currently has access to a smartphone or tablet
About the Research
The purpose of this research is to test the mechanics, user interface, game play and user enjoyment of a video game designed for children with ADHD. Children will be asked to play the video game while parents test a related app.
Following completion of the video game, children will be asked to answer a series of questions to generate feedback on the overall play enjoyment of the game. Parents can also expect to be asked questions following their use of the application to gather thoughts and feedback on the mechanics of the app. Families can expect to remain at the test location for up to an hour and a half. Study compensation will be provided to those who qualify.
