Lactose Intolerance Research Study

Giving up dairy can be hard

The Liberatus study is a clinical research study for those with lactose intolerance. The study is looking at the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of an investigational medication to help your body process the lactose in dairy products and reduce lactose intolerance symptoms.


You may qualify for this study if you:

  • Are 18-75 years of age
  • Have had a history of intolerance to milk and other dairy products (like ice cream, pizza, puddings like custard or flan)
  • Do not have any other gastrointestinal disorders, including Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Celiac disease, or chronic constipation

Study staff will determine eligibility based on additional study criteria.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

If you qualify, all study-related visits, tests and the investigational study drug will be provided at no cost.

In addition, reimbursement for study-related time and travel will be provided.
