Summary:
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, effectiveness and tolerability of a medication (compared to placebo) to treat depression in children and adolescents. The study will last approximately 10 weeks and include 9 visits to the study center.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 7 - 17 years of age
•
Have been diagnosed with depression
•
Be physically healthy (other than diagnosis of depression)
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study-related visits, tests, and drugs will be provided at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related travel may be provided
