The study will take about 5 months and will requires patient to stop taking current blood pressure medications during the study. Study medication is involved as well as measurement of blood pressure and heart rate at home.
• This study is looking for people 18 to 65 years of age who have essential hypertension and have been taking a stable dose of blood pressure medications.
•Eligible participants will receive access to an investigational drug or placebo.• Study-related support and monitoring by a healthcare team• Education about essential hypertension• Reimbursement up to $ 1,275 for time and travel
