Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports:

·         Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs

·         Each year, on average, 5 % to 20 % of the U.S. population gets the flu

·         You may be able to pass on flu to someone else before you know you are sick, as well as while you are sick

A clinical trial testing the effectiveness of an investigational medication for the flu is now seeking participants.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 12 years old
• Have had a fever within the last 12 hours
• Have cough, sore throat, or nasal obstruction
• Have had fatigue, headache, muscle pain, or feverishness for less than 40 hours


Qualified Participants May Receive:
