Diabetes can affect many parts of the body and is associated with serious complications, such as heart disease and stroke, blindness, kidney failure, and lower-limb amputation. Diet, exercise and education are important in managing diabetes, but many people require drug therapy to manage their illness.
 


You may be eligible to participate if you:

·       Are between 18 to 70 years of age

·       Have type 2 diabetes

·       Are currently on a stable dose of metformin


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants will receive study related care and study medication at no cost.  You may be compensated for time and travel.
