Summary:

The study is lookig at a new medication for people ith high triglycerides.  Triglycerides are a type of fat that can be found in your blood.  Having hig triglceride levels in your blood can increase the chance that you will have problems with your heart, blood vessels, or pancreas.  The study will look at a potential new medication to see whether it can redulce the amount of triglycerides in your blood.  Diet and exerciser are the main ways to lower triglycerides, but sometimes medication is also needed.  If you have high triglycerides, you may wnat to consider taking part in this study.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have high triglycerides
• Be at least 18, must not be allergic to fish oil
• Agree to follow a specific heart healthy diet and exercise program as best you can during the study


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Free medical care, labs, and a travel expense of $50 for each in office visit
