Summary:

The study is for people diagnosed with heart failure.  Chronic heart failure is a condition where the heart cannot pump blood as efficiently as it should. There will be a screening visit up to 3 weeks, a treatment period of about 3 years and a follow up period up to 1 month.  You will be treated with an investigational medication or placebo as a tablet once a day throughout the treatment period.  During the study you will have a physical exam, electrocardiogram, Lab test (some require you to fast) and questions about your health.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have been diagnosed with heart failure
• Have not had a serious heart event (such as a heart attack, stroke, or major heart surgery) within the last 90 days


Qualified Participants May Receive:

$53.00 for travel, free medical care, free labs
