Summary:
Commit to at least 17-25 office visits for 8 months. May require to drive to a second location as part of the program.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Males and Females Be between the ages of 18 to 65
•
Have a stable weight for the last two months
•
Body Mass Index (BMI) 30 to 40
•
Females must be of NON-CHILD BEARING potential ex. no menses for at least 12 months. OR hysterectomy OR bilateral oophorectomy
•
MUST BE HEALTHY – except for CONTROLLED THYROID DISEASE (medication okay)
• MILD KIDNEY IMPAIRMENT
• FATTY LIVER
• OR Hypertension that requires no medical treatment.
•
No MEDICATIONS - NON-SMOKER
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- no cost study related care and compensations for their time and travel
- Compensation will vary from $1,700 to $3,400
