Summary:

If you are an adult between 18 and 65 living with Type 1 Diabetes you may be eligible to take part in the GAZELLE clinical research trial. This trial will look at an investigational fast-acting insulin to see if it works as effectively as an existing fast-acting insulin already being used to treat diabetes. Trial-related medications, procedures, equipment, and supplies will be provided at no cost; health insurance is not required to participate. The trial lasts 8 months and there are 10 clinic visits.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have Type 1 Diabetes
• Age: 18-65
• Stable dose once daily Lantus or Toujeo injection and multiple daily bolus Novolog or Humalog injections
• BMI of 18.5-35
• Hb1Ac= 6.5-10%
• No insulin pump therapy.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Free of cost medication while in the study; reimbursement for time and travel.
