A research study comparing the effectiveness of three standard treatments for patients with Treatment Resistant Depression.  The standard treatments being compared include:

- Adding aripiprazole to current treatment

- Adding rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) to current treatment

- Switching current antidepressant medication to venlafaxine extended-release or duloxetine

The study will take up to 12 weeks/7 visits to complete.  If randomized to receive rTMS, you will have up to 26 additional rTMS treatment visits over the course of the study.



To be eligible for this study, participants must:

- be 18-80 years old

- diagnosed with Major Depression with less than 50% of symptom improvement on current medication

- currently taking an antidepressant medication

All study participants will received study-related medication or treatment, study visits, and study related procedures at no cost.
