Are You Suffering from PTSD?


Have ever experienced a traumatic event in your life and find yourself doing the following:

Re-Experience a traumatic event, such as:

-          Have nightmares

-          Have Flashbacks – Reliving the event over and over, including physical symptoms like a racing heart or sweating

-          Have something you see, hear, or smell that causes you to relive the event

Avoiding Situations that remind you of the event, such as:

-          Crowds, places, events or objects because they feel dangerous or remind you of the event

-          Feeling emotionally numb, strong guilt, depression or worry

-          Losing interest in activities that were enjoyable in the past

-          Having trouble remembering the dangerous event.

Feeling Keyed Up (Hyperarousal), such as:

-          Having a hard time sleeping

-          Having trouble concentrating

-          Being easily startled by a loud noise or surprise

-          Feeling tense or “on edge”

If you have had a traumatic event in your life and are experiencing some of the above issues, we may be able to help.  Sometimes the hardest wounds to heal are the invisible ones but you don’t have to wait to get help. 

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18-75 years old
• Have experienced a traumatic life event that occurred in 2001 or later

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study related care at not cost

compensation for time and travel
