Generalized Anxiety Disorder Clinical Research Study

A clinical research study in New Bedford, Massachusetts is now enrolling patients living with anxiety.

About The Study
This study is evaluating the efficacy of a new medication for the treatment of anxiety, in comparison to a placebo. The placebo looks like the study drug but does not contain the active drug ingredients. Qualified individuals can expect to remain in the study for up to 10 weeks. Those who qualify may be offered the opportunity to participate in a 24 week open label extension of the study.

Participation Requirements
You may qualify if you:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 65
  • Have been diagnosed with anxiety for at least one year
  • Do not have a diagnosis of:
    • OCD
    • Autism
    • Schizophrenia
    • PTSD
    • Bipolar Disorder
    • Dementia
    • Depression
    • Eating Disorder
  • Have not been suicidal or had suicidal thoughts within the past 6 months or engaged in self-injuring behaviors in the past 6 months
  • Have no history of psychosurgery, deep brain stimulation, or electroconvulsive therapy
  • Have no history of alcohol or drug abuse
