Do you have moderate to severe pelvic pain caused by endometriosis?
Endometriosis affects about 10% of women — approximately 176 million women worldwide — and has no known cause or cure. If you have moderate to severe pelvic pain caused by endometriosis, you may want to consider participating in a clinical research study.
What is the purpose of the endometriosis study?
This clinical research study is evaluating an investigational non-hormonal medication to see if it is safe and effective in reducing moderate to severe endometriosis-related pelvic pain.
Is study participation an option for you?
You may be able to participate in this study if you:
- Are a woman who is 18 to 49 years old
- Have been surgically diagnosed (via laparoscopy or laparotomy) with endometriosis within the past 10 years
- Experience endometriosis-related pelvic pain, even when you are not having your period
- Have regular menstrual cycles of 24 to 38 days
- Meet additional requirements, which the study team will discuss with you
How long is the endometriosis study?
If you are eligible and you choose to join the study, your participation may last for approximately 24 weeks, including approximately seven visits to the study site and one phone call with the study team. The actual duration will depend on factors such as how your body responds to treatment and what you and the study doctor think is best for your health and well-being.
