Looking to lose weight? Already tried diet and exercise?
You may be eligible to volunteer for a clinical research study to evaluate the effect of a new investigational medicine, semaglutide, as compared to marketed medicine, liraglutide on weight loss.
Criteria:* Be 18 years of age or older
* Be overweight or obese with or without at least one weight related comorbidity(treated or untreated)
* Have at least one unsucessful weight loss atempt
* Have stable weight
During the study, you will need to :
* Inject the study medicine once a week or once a day depending on which medicine you will be assigned to.
* Attend regular study- related health checks as well as diet and activity counseling sessions
* Keep in contact with study staff during the study
