Now Enrolling: A Clinical Research Study for People with Moderate to Severe Acne

When current treatment options can’t keep up…
Seems like you’ve tried everything: cleansers, creams, medications, oh my! But if you’re still not getting the results you need, maybe give the RESOLVE Study a try. It’s a clinical research study evaluating an investigational topical foam – composed of two acne fighting agents – to see if it may potentially help treat your acne. Designed to be applied just once a day, the investigational foam may provide you with the relief you’ve been looking for.

    About the Investigational Foam
The investigational foam is a topical foam designed to be applied once a day. It is made up of two anti-acne ingredients:

    • Minocycline: Usually given as an oral tablet, this medication is used to help treat acne
    • Adapalene: a topical gel used to treat acne; it belongs to a class of medications called retinoids

Study participants will be randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to receive one of four different study treatments. They are:
    • The investigational foam
    • A foam containing only minocycline
    • A foam containing only adapalene
    • A foam with no active ingredients

    How Does The Study Work?
Study participation will last approximately up to 22 weeks and includes up to six study visits and one phone call.
    • Screening Visit: at the initial visit, the study doctor will determine if you are eligible to participate
    • Treatment Visits: you will begin taking study treatment for 12 weeks and attend four study visits to take part in health-related tests, assessments, and procedures
    • Phone Call: A member of the study team will call you once to ask about your health
    • Follow-up Visit: attend one final visit four weeks after your final treatment visit to review your health (if necessary)

All eligible study participants will receive study-related care, study visits, and study treatment at no cost.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
