Local doctors are looking for volunteers to participate in a clinical trial testing the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for patients with low-risk Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS).


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be age 18+
• Have had at least 1 of the following disease-related criteria during in the last 8 weeks
• Red blood cell (RBC) transfusion dependence of 2 or more units of RBCs or Hb of < 8.5 g/dL in at least 2 blood counts
• ANC of < 0.5 times
• 10^9/L in at least 2 blood counts
• Platelet counts of < 50 times
• 10^9/L in at least 2 blood counts


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All qualified participants may receive study-related care and study drug at no cost. Compensation may be available as well.
