The purpose of this phase II clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication in the treatment of flu symptoms, including fever, nasal congestion, sore throat, aches and pains, fatigue, and headache in adults with influenza. 


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between the ages of 18-65 years old
• Have had flu symptoms and a fever for less than 48 hours
• Be able and willing to sign informed consent


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All qualified participants will receive study-related care and study drug or placebo at no cost. Volunteers may be compensated for time and travel related to participation in this clinical research trial.
