Summary:

This research project is about studying brain reorganization and behavioral responses in in people with chronic back pain with opioid exposure. This study does not involve the testing of any medication. 


1. Must have history of low back pain for a minimum of 6 months daily (prior to screening)

2. Must be on regular opioid therapy for at least 3 months prior to randomization

3. Male or female, age equal or greater than 18 years, with no racial/ethnic restrictions

4. Must be able to read and speak English and be willing to read and understand instructions as well as questionnaires

5. Must be willing to complete daily smartphone/computer app ratings

6. Must be in generally stable health


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants of the study will be compensated.
