Summary:
Does your lack of bladder control restrict and limit your enjoyment of life? Do you wish you didn’t have to worry about the persistent need to use the restroom?
We understand the pain and often crippling limitations of an over-active bladder or incontinence condition. This study will be investigating a new, innovative, at-home, discreet treatment that addresses the root of the problem, allowing you to reclaim your life.
The study will be using the ZIDA system which is not a drug. It is a safe, simple medical device that may alleviate the symptoms of an over-active bladder and/ or incontinence.
• If you live in the Coral Gables, Florida area and experience one of the below symptoms you may qualify to participate in a clinical trial:
- Do you feel a sudden, immediate urge to urinate that's difficult to control?
- Do you experience urge incontinence — the involuntary loss of urine immediately following an urgent need to urinate?
- Do you urinate frequently, eight or more times in 24 hours?
- Does your need to urinate wake you two or more times a night (nocturia)?
You cannot participate if:
- You have a pacemaker
- You have nerve damage
- You are pregnant
- You are taking medicine for your incontinence
