Click image to enlargeIf your child has TS, you know that physical (motor) and (verbal) vocal tics can be frustrating because they are unpredictable and disruptive. No matter how often tics happen or how intense they are, they can be difficult to diagnose and manage.
This study is researching an investigational drug (a "selective D1 dopamine receptor blocking agent") called ecopipam to find out if it works in children and adolescents age 6 -to 17 years of age with TS.
To be eligible for this study, your child must: Have signed written informed sonsent from a parent or legal guardian; sign a written informed assent; be 6 to 17 years of age; be diagnosed with TS; have both motor and vocal tics that interrupt normal routines.
