Summary:
The EXCHANGE Study is for people with advancing relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) who are already being treated with a medication for MS called a “disease-modifying therapy (DMT).” The goal of the study is to see whether switching from a DMT to the medication under investigation is safe for people with RMS. If you take part in the study, you will switch from your current DMT to the medication under investigation.
A total of 300 patients across the United States will take part.
You, or someone you care for, may be able to take part if you/they:
- are a man or woman, 18–65 years of age
- have advancing RMS (where symptoms are getting worse over time)
- have been continuously treated with an MS medication (eg, beta-interferons, glatiramer acetate, fingolimod, dimethyl fumarate, or teriflunomide) for at least 3 months
- live in Arizona, Georgia, Virginia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, or Tennessee.*
