Clinical Trial 44044

Fresno, CA 93710

If you’ve been diagnosed with essential tremor, you may be eligible for the KINETIC Trial.

Study Purpose:
The KINETIC Trial is evaluating an investigational drug to see if it can help reduce tremors that impact everyday activities. The term “investigational” means this drug has not been approved for commercial use.

We are looking for adults ages 18 to 80 years old who have been diagnosed with essential tremor for at least three years to take part in a clinical research study of an investigational drug. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational drug compared to a placebo on tremor reduction.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Participant is 18 to 80 years of age and able to walk
  • Participant has been formally diagnosed with essential tremor for at least three years
  • Participant is willing to discontinue medications taken for the treatment of essential tremor within 14 days prior to receiving the investigational drug
    • If you are currently taking propranolol, you will need to discontinue this medication prior to participation (you should discuss this with your prescribing physician before discontinuing any medications you are currently taking)
    • Medications taken for the treatment of essential tremor that were discontinued prior to receiving the investigational medication may be resumed following Day 29

*There are additional eligibility requirements, which the study doctor can explain to you.
