Summary:
What is required:
- 4 visits and blood tests, 1 telephone contact & 4 stool samples over no more than 90 days
- Take an FDA-approved HIV anti-diarrhea medication and evaluate its effect on your “GUT MICROBIOME”
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be over the age of 18
•
Be HIV positive
•
Have a viral load of 200c/mL or greater OR CD4 50-200
•
Have had diarrhea for 1 month or more or a history of loose or mushy bowel movements despite trying anti-diarrhea medication OR 1 or more daily watery bowel movements without anti-diarrhea medication
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- May receive up to $525.00
compensation for participation.
