Summary:

Children needed – DENTAL RESEARCH STUDY

Does your child have TOOTH CAVITIES?

We are looking for children ages 10-14 years to take part in a clinical study testing an investigational toothpaste for prevention of tooth decay in children.

Where: The Forsyth Institute Center for Clinical and Translational Research
245 First Street, 17th Floor, Cambridge MA


What will happen at the first visit? We will:
- review your child’s medical and dental history
- examine your child’s teeth, gums and mouth
- The screening exam will last 15-20 minutes

If your child is found eligible and willing to participate, your child:
- will be enrolled and randomized (by chance) into one of the study groups.
- will receive the assigned study products (toothpaste and toothbrush) with instructions of use. Your child will be seen every 3 months up to 12 months for repeated exams.
- The Study visits will take about 30-45 minutes.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Total of $400 compensation will be provided to those who complete all 5 visits.
