Clinical Trial 46147

Winter Haven, FL 33880

Summary:

We are doing this study to find out how well insulin icodec (a new insulin taken once-weekly) used with DoseGuide App controls blood sugar compared to daily insulins in people with type 2 diabetes. When you have type 2 diabetes your blood sugar is too high. This is because the body makes too little insulin or does not respond well to the insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps the body control blood sugar. Many people with diabetes need treatment with insulin after some time. This study will be carried out with limited interference of people’s everyday life. This means that there are very few planned clinic visits.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Diagnosed with Diabetes Type II for at least 6 months
• Have never been on insulin (during pregnancy or in a hospital setting is ok)
• Have an A1C over 7.0

Qualified Participants May Receive:

- Study related care such as blood work and EKG

- Glucose monitor

- Physical performed by a board certified physician

- Compensation for time and travel expenses
