Summary:

Seeking Participants Diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder for a Clinical Research Study

    If you or someone you know is between 18 and 65 years old and living with diagnosed major depressive disorder (MDD), consider a clinical research study. Local researchers at Princeton Medical Institute need participants diagnosed with MDD who have had inadequate response to antidepressants to help test the effectiveness of an investigational treatment for MDD in adults.

    You may qualify for participation if you:

    • Are 18 to 65 years old
    • Have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD)
    • Are experiencing a current major depressive episode of at least 8 weeks
    • Have had an inadequate response to antidepressants prior to the study

    You may not qualify for participation if you:

    • Have a diagnosis of:
      • Schizophrenia
      • Bipolar Disorder
      • A Neurocognitive Disorder
      • HIV
      • Hepatitis B or C
      • An eating disorder
    • Have a history of heart disease or have had a heart attack
    • Have experienced hallucinations or delusions during your current MDD episode
    • Have a history of epilepsy

    There are additional requirements to qualify for this study. A member of the study team will discuss these with you during screening.
