Summary:
This is a clinical trial for a stroke recovery system. The system is being studied to determined whether our device combined with rehabilitation therapy helps restore more hand/arm function to chronic stroke patients with hemiparesis (weakness of one side) than rehabilitation alone.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be willing to undergo a surgical procedure if they are randomized to investigational
• complete 6 weeks of outpatient occupational therapy and attend three follow-up visits after their rehabilitation
• be 21 years old or older
• have a minimal amount of function in their hand/arm in order to undergo hand/arm occupational therapy.
