Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 - 75 years of age
• Diagnosis of type 2 diabetes
• Hemoglobin (HbA1c) level less than or greater than 11% at screening visit
• Receiving an ACE inhibitor or angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) for at least the last 3 months prior to screening visit
• stable blood pressure
