Plainfield, IN 46168

Summary:

Adults Living with Plaque Psoriasis Needed for a Research Study

The FRONTIER 1 study is testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral drug for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder that causes raised and inflamed patches of scaly skin that can be extremely itchy and/or painful. It affects nearly 6.7 million adults in the United States.

This clinical research study is looking for adults ages 18 or older and living with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis to participate. In this study, 5 out of 6 of the participants enrolled will receive the investigational oral drug and one out of 6 will receive placebo (drug with no active ingredients). The study will last up to 24 weeks, including up to a 4-week screening period, 16-week treatment period, and 4-week safety follow-up period. If eligible, participants may enroll in the 36 week-long term extension, where all participants will receive the study drug.

You or someone you know might qualify if you/they:

  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis by a doctor at least 6 months ago.
  • Are in generally good health otherwise.

The study drug and other study-related procedures will be provided at no cost.
