Clinical Trial 49404

Everett, WA 98201

Summary:

Even with treatment, depression may continue to be challenging. That is why researchers are exploring how an investigational medication, when added to existing antidepressants, may help to manage MDD. If you currently take antidepressants but find that they are not fully managing your symptoms, participating in the RELIANCE Clinical Research Program may be an option for you.

If you have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), are currently experiencing depression (sometimes referred to as a depressive episode), and are between the ages of 18-65 years, you may be eligible to participate as a volunteer in one of the studies in the RELIANCE Clinical Research Program.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between the ages of 18 to 65
• Have current and moderate symptoms of Major Depression
• Be willing to take investigational medication for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
• Be able to attend study visits and meet with the study doctors
• Be in good general health

Qualified Participants May Receive:

You do not have to pay for participation in a clinical research study. This study includes the investigational medication, study supplies, study visits, and tests that are part of the study. You may receive reimbursement for your time and travel. You may receive more frequent health check-ups as part of your participation. You will help others by contributing to what we know about Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and you may gain additional resources for managing your depression.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
