Researchers at Meris Clinical Research are studying the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of a new investigational drug, when compared with placebo, in treating moderate-to-severe COPD in former smokers.



Criteria:
  • Be 40 to 85 years of age, inclusive
  • Have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe COPD by a physician for at least 1 year
  • Have a smoking history of ≥10 pack-years
  • Be a former smoker, having stopped smoking 6 or more months ago with the intention to permanently quit
  • Have reported a history of signs and symptoms of chronic bronchitis
  • Have a documented history of high exacerbation risk
  • Have a standard of care controller therapy

Qualified Participants May Receive:

All qualified participants will have access to an experienced local team of health care professionals and may receive investigational study drug or placebo and study-related care at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided if you qualify.
