Study Summary:
A research study to test an investigational oral medication to see if it can control both diabetes and high cholesterol. The test drug contains two approved medications, zocor and avandia.
Participation in the study will provide:
• Diabetes and cholesterol education
• Thorough health evaluation
• Laboratory testing
• Investigational treatment

Study is being offered in two different sites, Burke and Manassas, Virgina, very close to Prince William Hospital.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have diabetes
• Have high cholestrol
• Be between the ages of 18 and 75.
