Summary:

North Carolina Dermatology Associates is enrolling adults 18 to 80 years old for a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral medication to treat eczema itch. 


  • Have had chronic itch from active atopic dermatitis (eczema) for at least 6 weeks
  • Have tried a topical therapy for eczema itch that did not work in the past 3 months
  • Be able to maintain an electronic diary (eDiary) throughout the study
  • Can participate in up to 8 visits to the study site over about 12 weeks


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Be compensated for completed study visits.
  • Contribute to eczema research.
  • Other criteria will be evaluated to see if you may participate in this study.
