Summary:
Do you continue to have high triglycerides even though you are taking a statin for your cholesterol? Meridien Research is conducting a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational combination of two medications for the treatment of cholesterol and triglycerides. There is a two year open-label extension at the conclusion of the study for those who are interested.
Qualified Participants Must:
• be currently taking a statin medication
• be between the ages of 18 and 79
• have elevated triglycerides >180
• be willing to discontinue all other lipid-lowering therapies
• be in generally good health
