Summary:

A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Controlled, Phase 2b/3 Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of ABP-671 in Participants With Gout.

This trial is working with a daily pill designed to help reduce uric acid buildup in the blood and aleviate gout symptoms. The medication being studied in this trial is a uricosuric agent, which works by slowing down the body's reabsorption of uric acid so that it can be passed out of the body in the urine.

The study is aproxiately 8 months long, and involves 17 total visits to the clinc over that time. Once fully enrolled, you may be elegible for compensation at each visit. All medication and study related care is provided free of charge for the duration of the program. 



Criteria

Successful applicants will match the following criteria. 

Ages: 19-70 inclusive 
BMI: 18-40 inclusive
Diagnosed with or expereince the symptoms of Gout
Other criteria will be assessed 

The following conditions and circumstances may disqualify you from participating. Please contact our team for further details. 

History of rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune realted condition.
History of kidney stones in the last 3 months. 
History of significant health events such as heart attack, kidney or liver failure, or sickle cell anemia.
Diagnosed with or treated for cancer in the last 5 years.
History of HIV or hepatitis.
Untreated high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants may recieve free care and compensaion for their time. Transportation assistance may be available once enrolled.
