Summary:

 

This study looks at the effect of a probiotic on those with constipation or low bowel movement frequency (less than 3 bowel movements per week). Previous research into the probiotic being used in this study has shown that it improved symptoms of constipation but currently, there is no research for a US population. 

Participants in the study will be randomly assigned to either receive the probiotic product or a placebo, which is a non-active version of the product.



Criteria:

Participants must attend 3 visits to our Downtown Chicago clinic over 10-11 weeks and consume the product or placebo daily for 8 weeks.

As part of the study, you will be required to have blood, urine & still samples taken at different times during the study.

Adults aged 18-65.

Experience symptoms of constipation.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All participants will receive up to $600 for completing all visits of the study.
