Summary:

Sleep Disorders (Ages 60 and Up) - At Home Study

REM sleep behavior disorder and loss of smell can be important signals of risk for brain disease, including Parkinson’s.

A landmark research study is exploring these links toward prevention. A simple scratch-and-sniff test could help scientists learn more about brain health.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research is asking everyone age 40 and up with and without Parkinson’s disease to take a smell test.
