Summary:

This study evaluates an investigational medication for the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. All those enrolled must have daily access to a standard home telephone line to transmit information through an electronic diary. To qualify, you must be experiencing symptoms of C-IBS, including 2 or less bowel movements per week, abdominal pain, cramping, and bloating. You should be willing to use only the investigational medication and rescue medications provided through out the study. There are 9 office visits over 23 weeks with up to $810.00 provided for time and travel if you qualify.
