We are looking for people to take part in a clinical research
study to help us learn more about an investigational medication for uncontrolled
asthma. Despite using standard asthma treatments, some people continue to
experience severe symptoms. This study is being done to understand if the study
drug can reduce inflammation in the airways caused by asthma. It is hoped that
blocking the activity of a protein involved in airway inflammation may help
people manage asthma better.
Are you able to help?
You may be able to take part in the NAZARE Study if you:
●
are 18–75 years of age
●
have a diagnosis of asthma that is not
well controlled despite using medications.
The study will last for up to 91 weeks (about 21 months) and
have about 17 study center visits and 8 phone calls. You will continue to take
your regularly prescribed asthma medications throughout the study.
