BACKGROUND
Join a clinical research study that evaluates a new natural birth control method using a mobile app that calculates your daily pregnancy risk by measuring your biometrics (i.e., temperature) with a wearable device (Oura Ring). This birth control method is called fertility awareness based contraception and is completely hormone free!
This research will follow participants over a 12-month period. Women will be guided to use the wearable ring and an app that tracks temperature, sleep, and other biometrics to understand their cycle. Women will be asked to check the study app each morning to receive their individualized daily contraceptive guidance, and will log information about their menstrual cycle and sexual activity.
The primary goal of this research is to understand how wearable fertility awareness based technology may support natural contraceptive choices. All study Curavit Proprietary & Confidential activities are conducted remotely, and the study is being conducted under IRB (Institutional Review Board) oversight.
