Summary:
A large study being conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of adding an additional medication to subject's current diabetes care for patients who do not have adequate control of their glucose levels.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
•
Have diabetes
•
Be currently taking Actos (pioglitazone), with or without other antidiabetic medications
•
Not be taking insulin
•
Still be experiencing high blood sugar levels
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation for your time and travel, all study-related exams and lab work at no cost, and free blood glucose testing supplies and meter.
